Job Title: STOCK CLERKS, SALES FLOOR
Job Duties: Answer customer's questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection. Stamp, attach, or change price tags on merchandise, referring to price list. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise. Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct. Itemize and total customer merchandise selection at checkout counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases. Transport packages to customer's vehicles. Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise. Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles. Design and set up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales. Pack customer purchases in bags or cartons. Requisition merchandise from supplier, based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.

Qualification Requirements: Job requires 3 months on the job training and 3 months work experience. Demonstrating ability to complete heavy lifting tasks. Processing effective communication skills. Having basic math skills. Showing an ability to help customers.

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION. This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position, commencing on June 01, 2023 to May 31, 2024 (2) WORK HOURS. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment at least thirty-five (35) hours per week. (3) THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the work days of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. (6) RECRUITMENT INFORMATION.
