Job Title: | COMPUTER USER SUPPORT SPECIALIST |
Job Duties: | Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation. Read documents to gather technical information. Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues. Resolve computer software problems. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Teach others to use computer equipment or hardware. Train others in computer interface or software use. Test software performance. Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades. |

Comments: | (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION. This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position, commencing on June 01, 2023 to May 31, 2024 (2) WORK HOURS. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment at least thirty-five (35) hours per week. (3) THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the work days of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. (6) RECRUITMENT INFORMATION.
